Let's Start Baking:

Bring a clean bowl to add half a cup of butter (115g), a quarter of a cup of white sugar (50g), and half a cup of brown sugar (100g) and beat them well until combined. Then, add one egg and 2 tsp vanilla, mixing well until creamy.

In another bowl, add 190g flour, 3 tsp baking soda, and half a tsp salt. Stir well, then add it to the mixture slowly, with constant mixing until it's well combined.

Add one cup of chocolate chips (160g) to the mixture. Place an oven plate on butter paper to avoid sticking, then shape the dough into medium circles with your hands or any shape you desire. Put them inside the refrigerator for 30 minutes. After that, bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes or until slightly golden.

Moreover:

Make sure the grams I mentioned above are adjusted according to how many chocolate cookies you want to make.

Ensure that you know what you are adding for each ingredient and have done your research on them.

The chocolate cookies should be nice and not overly sweet. Be careful with the sugar, as too much can spoil the taste. The butter should be of good quality, but not excessive.

Balance the white and brown sugar equally. Eggs should be half the amount of butter, not equal, but if you love the egg flavor, you can add a little more.

The vanilla extract should be used sparingly; too much can spoil the chocolate cookie flavor, so measure it well.

Flour is the most important ingredient. Make sure you use the exact type needed, as it’s the foundation of your cookies. Avoid adding too much water, as this can spoil the dough.

Baking soda should be measured carefully, as some people like a stronger flavor, while others prefer a subtle amount. It depends on your taste.

Salt doesn’t need much; just a very small spoon is enough.

Chocolate chips are the secondary ingredient and provide the most delicious taste and smell.

Warning!

When preparing chocolate cookies, please ensure the safety of small children. Avoid letting them near hot baking trays or the oven to prevent burns or injuries.

Safety should always come first in the kitchen!

Health Considerations:

Chocolate cookies are a delightful treat enjoyed by many, but it’s important to note that they may not be suitable for everyone.

While generally safe for most people, certain individuals should avoid eating chocolate cookies unless advised otherwise by a healthcare professional. Based on research, here are some groups that may need to steer clear of chocolate cookies or consume them cautiously:

  • People with allergies: Those allergic to chocolate, cocoa, dairy, eggs, or gluten.
  • Individuals with food intolerances: Such as lactose intolerance, gluten intolerance, or celiac disease.
  • Health conditions: People with diabetes, IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), or other digestive disorders.
  • Weight loss diets: Those following strict dietary plans or avoiding high-calorie foods.
  • Caffeine sensitivity: Since chocolate contains caffeine, it might not be ideal for those avoiding it.
  • Children and animals: Infants and toddlers may struggle to digest chocolate, and it’s toxic for pets like dogs and cats.

It’s always a good idea to do additional research or consult your doctor if you’re unsure about including chocolate cookies in your diet.

Thank you, and happy baking! Enjoy creating your delicious treats with care and love.
