Easy Homemade Milky Doughnuts Recipe with Delicious Fillings

Preparation Steps:

In a glass bowl, add 5 cups of flour, ½ cup of sugar, ¼ cup of powdered milk, 1 teaspoon of instant yeast, and ½ teaspoon of salt. Mix all the dry ingredients together very well. Then add 2 eggs, 60g of melted butter (make sure it's warm, not hot), and 1 ½ cups of warm water. Wash your hands thoroughly and start mixing the dough with your hands. Once well combined, transfer the dough to a clean flat surface and stretch it until it becomes flexible.

In a bowl, add 1 teaspoon of cooking oil (or melted butter) and rub it inside the bowl. Place the dough inside, cover with a cloth, and let it rest for 1 hour.

After 1 hour, take out the dough and cut it into small pieces (80g each). Weigh them for accuracy, then shape them into circles with your clean hands. Place parchment paper on an oven plate, sprinkle some flour, and arrange the dough pieces with some distance between them to prevent sticking. Cover and set aside for 30 minutes to rest.

Preparing the Fillings:

We will make three types of fillings, starting with custard filling.

- In a bowl, add 4 egg yolks and 1/3 cup of sugar. Mix well.
- Add 3 teaspoons of corn starch and mix again carefully.
- Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 2 cups of warm milk. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a pan over medium heat, stirring continuously until thickened.
- Remove from heat, transfer to a bowl, and cover with plastic wrap to cool.

For the second filling, which is milky cream:

- Pour 1 cup of heavy whipping cream into a clean glass bowl.
- Whisk well, then add ¼ cup of condensed milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and ¼ cup of powdered milk.
- Whisk again until creamy.
- Transfer both fillings to piping bags and refrigerate until ready to use.

Frying the Doughnuts:

- In a frying pan over medium heat, add 2 cups of cooking oil and let it warm.
- Add the dough pieces one by one, ensuring both sides turn golden brown.
- Remove and place them on a plate.

In a bowl, add 5 teaspoons of powdered milk. Coat each doughnut with the powdered milk, then remove and place them on a plate. Using a spatula, create a hole inside each doughnut and fill them with the prepared fillings.
