Ingredients Needed
Eggs
Sugar
Salt
Vanilla sugar
Milk
Oil
Flour
Cocoa powder
Baking powder
Boiled condensed milk
Whipping cream
Peanuts
Chocolate (white and dark)
Coffee
Almond flakes
Let's Start Baking
Start by bringing two clean bowls. Break four eggs and separate the yolks from the whites. In the bowl with the yolks, add 100g of sugar and 10g of vanilla sugar. Mix well until combined, then slowly add 50ml of milk while stirring, followed by 50ml of oil.
In a separate bowl, sift together 80g of flour, 30g of cocoa powder, and 8g of baking soda. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing thoroughly.
In another bowl, beat the egg whites with an electric mixer until they form stiff peaks. Gently fold them into the batter until fully combined. Pour the mixture into a 35x24cm baking tray and bake at 180°C (356°F) for 15 minutes.
Once baked, remove from the oven, place a sheet of butter paper on top, and flip it upside down to remove the original baking paper. Roll the cake using the new butter paper and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Preparing the Filling
In a clean bowl, blend 200g of boiled condensed milk until creamy. Add 200ml of whipping cream and blend again. Stir in 100g of peeled and cracked peanuts. Unroll the cooled cake and spread the filling evenly. Roll the cake back up and refrigerate for another 30 minutes.
Making the Topping
Chop 20g of white chocolate and place it in a cup. Add 150ml of hot milk and stir until melted. Mix in 100ml of coffee, whipped cream, and some almond flakes.
Melt 200g of dark chocolate with 40ml of oil in the microwave for two minutes or using a double boiler. Stir in 100g of peeled and cracked peanuts. Pour this melted chocolate over the rolled cake and refrigerate until the topping hardens.
Enjoy your homemade chocolate roll dessert!
Happy Baking!
