Healthy Spinach Soup Recipe – Nutritious & Easy to Make
In this article, we will talk about one of the best healthy spinach soups.
It may seem hard to cook, but simply gather the ingredients below and follow the cooking steps.
Ingredients Needed:
- Spinach
- Olive oil (cooking oil)
- Bay leaf
- Garlic
- Onion
- Water
- Milk (low fat)
- Black pepper (powder)
- Cinnamon (powder)
- Salt
Let's Start the Recipe:
Place a pan on medium heat and add 3 teaspoons of olive oil. Take one onion, wash it, cut off the top and bottom, finely chop it, and add it to the oil with 1 bay leaf. Sauté for a while, then peel 3 cloves of garlic, add them to the onion, and continue sautéing until translucent. Wash 250g of spinach thoroughly, cut it, and add it to the pan. Fry until pale, then add ¼ cup of water. Cook for 2 minutes and set aside to cool.
In a blender, add the cooked spinach (remove the bay leaf) and grind well. Pour the mixture into a heated pan with 1 cup of water, ½ teaspoon of cinnamon powder, ½ teaspoon of black pepper powder, ½ teaspoon of salt, and ¾ cup of low-fat milk. Mix everything well and bring to a boil for 5 minutes. The soup should now be creamy and flavorful.
For the dressing, dice two slices of bread and place them in a bowl. Add 2 teaspoons of olive oil, ½ teaspoon of black pepper, ½ teaspoon of paprika, and ½ teaspoon of coriander. Mix well. Heat a frying pan over low heat, add 1 teaspoon of olive oil or butter, and roast the bread until golden brown. Wash some parsley, finely chop it, and sprinkle it over the soup along with the roasted bread. Enjoy your healthy spinach soup!
